COVID-19 UPDATE

By April 6, 2020 July 24th, 2020 No Comments

To our valued clients,

To address the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic, we here at Tower Hill-Bathurst Animal Hospital have decided to tweak how we serve you, in an effort to contribute to slowing the spread of the virus.

We will be limiting the amount of human-to-human interaction, as per government recommendations, as well as practicing social distancing.

With this in mind, effective tomorrow, April 7th, 2020 we will be offering parking lot triage. Our goal is to extend care to all of our clients as long as possible, hopefully, throughout the current crisis. We hope that by taking these measures it will provide a safe environment for all.

PLEASE CALL US WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT AND REMAIN IN YOUR CAR.

IF YOU ARE PICKING UP FOOD AND/OR MEDICATIONS, PLEASE CALL US AND WE CAN BRING YOUR PURCHASE TO YOUR CAR.

This process will involve a staff member coming to your car to pick up your pet, bringing your pet into the clinic, providing your pet care and necessary treatment, and then returning your pet to you at your vehicle. Please ensure dogs are on leash and cats or pocket pets are contained in carriers.

Our veterinarian, Dr. Piotrowski, will speak to you on the phone regarding your pet’s history, symptoms and findings. For this process, we are prepared to accept credit card payments over the phone. Please be advised we accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not accept American Express.

Our hope is to minimize the number of people our clients, as well as our staff, come into contact with. Safety is one of our top priorities.

We will continue to monitor and assess the situation in the coming days and weeks, and, as things evolve, we will keep you informed of any further changes.

Thank you all for your cooperation and understanding in our decision to help keep our staff and clients safe.

If you have additional questions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at 905-737-4455 for more information.
